Our review of the star-studded monster movie "Kong: Skull Island," and the benefits of seeing it in IMAX.

0:15:50 - MOVIE NEWS

The "Transformers: The Last Knight" trailer confuses us, rumblings of a Venom solo film, "Baby Driver" premiers to raves at SXSW, a third "Guardians of the Galaxy" confirmed, "The Batman" pushed back while "Man of Steel 2" eyes a director, more Matrix movies and guessing the plot of the upcoming "Space Race."

"Crashing" and "Big Little Lies" debut on HBO, having a good cry with "This is Us" and "Nashville," a sneak peek at "American Gods" and picking our favorite character on "Powerless."

Early impressions of the critically-divisive "Iron Fist," Netflix ratings changing from stars to thumbs as they try and de-emphasize the theater-going experience, second seasons for "Love" and "Master of None," identifying with "I Don't Feel at Home in this World Anymore," trying to figure out Savitar's endgame on "The Flash," Teri Hatcher joins cast of "Supergirl," "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" among a glut of time travel shows and the return of the "Amazing Stories" anthology.
